Definition:

Names the index or indexes in which the Index Entry (<index.entry>) will appear.

Use:

An Index Entry (<index.entry>) marks the place in a document to which an index refers. A single Index Entry (<index.entry>) may appear in more than one index, if a document has several indexes. This attribute names the appropriate indexes, so that the Index Entry (<index.entry>) bearing this attribute can be called out in each index as the indexes are generated.

Meaning

A name or list of names

A PCIS name is a single word (no spaces) that must start with an alphabetic character and may contain only letters, numbers, periods, and hyphens. If more than one index is named, the names must be separated by spaces and the entire list enclosed in quotation marks.
